I believe in aromatherapy and that is why I am a big fan of Essential Oils. They have a lot of health benefits and every day household uses. Tea Tree Oil is one of my all the time favorite essential oil for cleaning and disinfecting everything in the house, without using toxins and harsh chemicals. Today I want to share about two other essential oils I use every day and think that everyone should try.
Peppermint Oil is the absolute must have in the morning. It has a strong menthol scent which awakes my body and mind, and prepares my emotional, spiritual and physical condition for the day. It also gives me a boost of energy and elevates my mood. I just love to put a few drops in the diffuser and is awesome as an air freshener, as it makes my room smelling fresh and clean. Sometimes I also like to take a couple of deep sniffs directly from the bottle for a quick awakening to the senses and mind, as well as clearing my nose by giving me relief from nasal congestion. Peppermint could also be used as muscle pain relief, allergy relief, anti-itch, natural bug repellant, sunburn relief and many more. I absolutely love Peppermint Oil and would suggest everyone to give it a try.
Lavender Oil is the absolute must have at night. Its calming fragrance helps to eliminate stress, improve sleep quality, promote relaxation, and lift mood. I put a few drops in the diffuser to prepare my body and mind for sleep. I also inhale it directly from the bottle when I feel stressed, as Lavender Oil eases anger and frustration. It is useful for treating anxiety, insomnia and depression. Lavender Oil is also used for insect bites, cuts, eczema, fungal infections and many more. I have been a fan of Lavender Essential Oil for years now and would recommend anyone to give it a try, if you have not already.
